“Bring photography to life”

PRIZE SENS - #2

Until 9/15/20

The Photo SENS competition is organized by David Helman and Maud Batellier de Lebolabo, an art print studio, and Yohan Terraza, a photographer based in Bordeaux. Every two months, this contest proposes a different and surprising theme that pushes each participant out of his/her comfort zone by confronting himself/herself with subjects inviting creation, essay and relevance. The will of the team is to propose personal challenges from which will emerge relevant photographic series open to each person with things to tell, thus favouring a singular approach.

More than ever, it is the purpose and coherence that will be put to contribution.

Theme

Above all, the SENS competition is open to all, in a logic where everyone will have the chance to surprise and be surprised.

Thème #2 - Rage of life

What is this healthy rage that drives everyone to want to continue creating? Is there a world after the last glimmer of hope, a desire to scream its existence? Do you have a goal, a personal mission, a need for fulfillment, a need to give, to receive? A powerful desire to live? Let the rage, whether healthy or not, speak in your images and surprise yourself.

Without a doubt the series which challenges by its personal interpretation and its diptychic development. A series that has divided but on which one must recognize a strong imagination and an artistic maturity that forces respect. The place is given here to the personal translation of the spectator with a coherence that traces an intelligent framework, preventing us from straying too far from a strongly personal and graphic series.
